Hey so going through the files i found the list of skill based titles each unit gets, but am coding illiterate and do not understand how the name is calculated and placed? for example, a unit with 3 highest overall skills in order is Slaving, Intrigue, Combat is labeled Rogue(combat+intrigue)-Slaver which doesn't make sense to me I'd like to train certain units to have these specific skill titles, but how do i do that? Is it as simple as highest base stat, or overall stats, do certain traits outside of skill manipulation(+or- in skill) cause them to change?

these were all packages made in 1-2month batches when the game development started to keep people interested/aware of progress and your basic updates to the game, they started as 2-3 days each update. they aren't completely removed sometimes, but Final projects come out as Full Weeklong(7 Days) packages. As a note the Weeklong Packages normally have a bit more content that isn't always shown in the 1-2/3 day files since they are completed works. And just as a note, take anything anyone says with a grain of salt since before 2020 updates and the amount of content made in the time this game started is impressive on it's own, this past year's just fucked over alot of ppl. So just keep an eye out over the next year or so, cus it is a very high potential/ambitious game.

Anyone who looks here and is confused, BlueCat's current works and stand alones are at the Top of the Downloads List, At the BOTTOM is where you will find all the Finished Week Content of the game, BlueCat Creates them as separate games for easier file downloads, and they all search the previous packages for your save files. Every finished portion will come out as a weekly package, ex. Week 1(1-7), Week 2(8-14), Week 3(15-21) etc.

BlueCat is consolidating all the versions into $10 weekly packages

Hello TeamDeadDeer, im curious about the games save files, I noticed that the ones i have are only Jpgs and i have never seen that before, is this supposed to be like this?

I was curious if the UI updates will allow for skill ability editing like the original Strive, where you can de-select abilities you don't want to use, seeing as you can only view 10 social/combat abilities at 1 time, while you can just keep adding more and more classes and have more abilities than you can use.

any chance you know what i messed up? new game, no backups, directions to a T. These are all found in the script file of the expansion in the roaming app data mods file.

hey mate, i found it out, when you open up DM for week one, it has all those folders, basically, you will be replacing all your Week 1 files with their equivalent names in DM folder, lmk if that makes sense just be sure to make backups(duplicate/copy paste) your original week 1 if you come into any issues

Gotcha, well i did have the 0.5.25 for all the modding attempts i was doing, seeing it not function i have switched over to .24 as of right now, will attempt running it on my pc tomorrow with the edits after i've completed them. i'll try looking into that fix for log if i can get the mod to work. onto your side note, it does not boot with multiple windows, the terminal is able to be opened in the file(i think, i actually have no clue how to use those) but the game .app is the only thing that boots up on Mac

no problem, i just wanted again to thank you for all you have already shown me. I will add a small bit, idk if you were made aware, the newest version seems to have no daily log, so im using the version right before this newest one, minor hiccups, but thanks none-the-less mate

@ankmairdor I followed this guide, and i indeed got the male & female portraits working but when checking the "talk" selection i still have the default 3 options, as well as checking the customization on new game after enabling the Aric mod along with portraits tho im very unexperienced with enabling modes other than hitting apply and opening the game, I'm unaware if something i did not do didn't register or what tho. I may just have to attempt tomorrow on my desktop. any further insight would be appreciated, tho you did already provide tons of assistance.

@AricTriton  I don't suppose there is a MacOS version of this modding guide, if not it's still good for me to run on my PC, but would like to use mac track pad. Just let me know soon as ya can, thanks mate
